"We'll be pre- senting three clinical scenarios in which one might consider tradi- tional glaucoma procedures or some of the less invasive glaucoma proce- dures." Two teams will present their views on the ideal treatment plans for a patient with early stage glau- coma who needs surgery, a patient needing both cataract surgery and continued pressure reduction, and a patient with advanced glaucoma. "Between those three [cases], this covers the majority of scenarios we find ourselves in," Dr. Rhee said. "Dale Heuer is the chair at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Aside from having contributed some of the most important literature on tube shunt surgery, he's hilarious. Robert Stegmann has been a surgical innovator in non-penetrating glaucoma surgery for the last two decades and has some of the most amazing high-resolution video anyone in the world will ever see.
