UPDATE A SCRS•ASOA has launched a new social media campaign called #FacesofASCRSASOA. This initiative is aimed at increasing visibility for ASCRS and ASOA and driving engagement. The campaign, which was launched in early November and fully unveiled at the 2017 American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) annual meeting, is an interactive, member-driven social media endeav- or. It's intended to help current and prospective members understand that ASCRS•ASOA is for all ophthal- mic surgical practices, showcasing the diversity among existing mem- bers and providing a foundation for ongoing education about the organizations. Since the formation of ASCRS in 1974 and the subsequent creation of ASOA, the organizations have grown to include members from all 50 states, several territories includ- ing Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam, and more than 100 countries.
