someone," Mr. Tesney said. "Having
your vision taken away is a terrifying
experience, but having it given back
is humbling. I would love for others
to be blessed by the gift that I am
grateful for being given."
If volunteering is not an option,
physicians can still extend their im-
pact as a sight giver—beyond their
practice—with a gift to the ASCRS
Foundation. A gift of $250 before
the end of the year is all that's need-
ed to provide an Operation Sight
surgery in 2018 to one of the 185
patients on the waiting list.
