O P T I C A L D I S P E N S A R Y M A N A G E M E N T 888.748.1112 Glaucoma will be the focus of symposia, courses, and more at the Annual Meeting April 13 Glaucoma Day will take place all day Friday, with sessions on a vari- ety of topics, including suturing and gluing, practical tech for the mod- ern ophthalmologist, medications and laser, and the surgical treatment of glaucoma. There will also be an international guest speaker, video case presentations, a debate on tra- beculectomy, and the 2018 Stephen A. Obstbaum, MD, Honored Lecture, which will be given by Steven Vold, MD, and is titled "Epic Glaucoma Care: the 20/20 Experience." For more details on Glaucoma Day, see page 46. April 14 On Saturday, those interested in glaucoma many choose to attend paper sessions on MIGS, laser, and other surgery, or surgical outcomes: MIGS/supraciliary. April 15 A symposium will take place from 8:00–9:30 a.m. titled "Tolls, Detours, and HOV Lanes: Navigating the MIGS Superhighway by Personaliz- ing Outcomes for Your Glaucoma Patients." There will also be an in- structional course Sunday afternoon on MIGS for the comprehensive ophthalmologist and a paper session on drug delivery. April 16 Attendees may choose between an instructional course on coexisting cataract and glaucoma or a sympo- sium on the essentials in glauco- ma, both from 8:00–9:30 a.m. on Monday morning. The afternoon program will feature a paper session on MIGS, a skills transfer lab on MIGS, and an instructional course on achieving success with MIGS. April 17 A paper session will take place from 8:00–9:30 a.m. on Tuesday and will focus on surgical outcomes in MIGS and combined procedures. EW March 2018
