UPDATE T he ASCRS•ASOA Annual Meeting is not only known for the exclusive and en- gaging education, it's also known for its world-class Exhibit Hall featuring more than 300 industry exhibitors and exciting networking activities. Industry Spotlight Theater After a successful inaugural show- ing last year, ASCRS is once again showcasing the Industry Spotlight Theater, a series of physician-led, product-focused education sessions (non-CME) in the Exhibit Hall. These sessions will provide attendees with overviews and comparisons across several different ophthalmic product categories. A new addition this year is a series of Part II Sessions, which will take place on the after- noon of April 16. The Part II Sessions will feature industry representatives providing unique perspectives on their company's products in a lively panel discussion format. ASCRS Ophthalmology Hall of Fame Lounge The newly redesigned ASCRS Oph- thalmology Hall of Fame Lounge will display inventions, memora- bilia, photographs, and other items representing the accomplishments of the 2018 inductees. The lounge will be open April 14–16 from 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Give Sight Interactive Wall The ASCRS Foundation Give Sight Interactive Wall, which will be an eye-catching display topped by a bright LED screen, will honor those who give back and the ASCRS Foundation programs they help with their philanthropy. Attendees will be able to interact with photos of patients in need and add their selfie to the "Faces of Donors" portion of the wall when they make a charita- ble gift during the meeting. Attend- ees can visit the Give Sight Interac- tive Wall on April 14–16 from 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Re-Fresh and Re-Charge Lounges From April 14–16, all attendees can visit the Re-Fresh and Re-Charge Lounges. The lounges will offer at- tendees the chance to recharge their tablets, cell phones, and other de- vices while relaxing and networking with colleagues between education sessions. The lounges will also offer complimentary flavored ice water stations. District food The Walter E. Washington Conven- tion Center and ASCRS•ASOA will offer food stations featuring differ- ent cuisine during the lunch breaks from April 14–16. Food stations will be available in the Exhibit Hall as well as in the Downtown Food District on the Concourse Level and the Uptown Food Court on the 2nd Level. The food stations will give attendees the opportunity to get a taste of the international cuisine that Washington, D.C. offers.
