Pan American Symphony Orchestra presents Tango Impressions The Pan American Symphony Or- chestra will perform at the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater on April 14 at 7:30 p.m. The program will feature Argentine tango, and tickets are $50. Shows and events happening in the city during the time of the meeting August Wilson's Two Trains Running August Wilson's Two Trains Running will run from March 30 to April 29 at the Arena Stage. Ticket prices range from around $50 to $100, depending on the performance date and time. Engelbert Humperdinck On April 15, English pop singer Engelbert Humperdinck will be per- forming at the Warner Theater. The show begins at 8:00 p.m. Washington, D.C. performing arts and events February 2018 P!NK: Beautiful Trauma World Tour Popular singer and musical artist P!NK will be making a tour stop at Capital One Arena on April 16 and 17. The shows begin at 7:30 p.m., and tickets range from $70 to almost $1,000. Shear Madness This performance at the Kennedy Center's Theater Lab is a comedy set in a hair styling salon. Performanc- es are ongoing, with several taking place in April. Tickets are $54. Shen Yun: 5,000 Years of Civilization Reborn The Falun Dafa Association of D.C. will present this performance, which will run from April 10–15 at the Kennedy Center. The show will take viewers through history with clas- sical Chinese dance and music. The performance will take place in the Kennedy Center's Opera House, and the running time is 2.5 hours. Ticket prices range from $80 to $250. SHIFT: A Festival of American Orchestras, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra On April 13, this program will take place in the Kennedy Center's Concert Hall at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25, and the concert will include classic and contemporary Polish works. Waiting for Godot The Shakespeare Theatre Company will be putting on this Samuel Beck- ett play from April 17 through May 20 at the Lansburgh Theatre. Tickets prices range from $45 to $120 de- pending on the performance. The Washington Ballet presents Mixed Masters This Kennedy Center ballet program will feature a program from chore- ographers George Balanchine, Fred- erick Ashton, and Jerome Robbins. The show will run from April 11–15 in the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theater. Ticket prices range from $25 to $140. Washington Nationals The Washington Nationals MLB team will be playing at home at Nationals Stadium from April 7–15 against various opponents. Game times and prices vary. The Wiz With performances from March 9–May 12 at the historic Ford's Theatre, there's plenty of time to take in this musical adaptation of the Wizard of Oz, which features the same characters with a mix of soul, gospel, R&B, and pop music.
