SLT and ABiC
™
work to control IOP by a process of restoration of the natural outflow
pathways. This is in contrast to traditional glaucoma surgeries and other MIGS procedures,
which attempt to mechanically change or bypass the pathway
of aqueous outflow.
SLT stimulates a process of cellular regeneration to create a
healthier, more porous TM structure. On average, SLT achieves
a 30% reduction in IOP when used as a first-line therapy.

™
is a new ab-interno MIGS procedure that flushes
out the natural outflow channels, without damaging
