Also from 8:00–9:30 a.m. will be an instructional course on "Coexist- ing Cataract and Glaucoma: Tips for the Uneasy Relationship." Instruc- tors for this course are Ahmad Khalil, MD, PhD, Giza, Egypt, Alan Crandall, MD, Salt Lake City, Amar Agarwal, FRCS, Chennai, India, and Boris Malyugin, MD, PhD, Moscow, Russia. From 10:00–11:30 a.m., Reay H. Brown, MD, Atlanta, will present the Charles D. Kelman Innovator's Lecture entitled "Overcoming Resis- tance: Making Glaucoma a Surgical Disease." Later in the day from 3:00–4:30 p.m., an instructional course for those getting started with MIGS— pearls for using trabecular microby- pass stents—will be instructed by Carlos Buznego, MD, Miami. Tuesday, May 9 A course reviewing new technologies and devices presented in Russian will be hosted from 9:30–11:00 a.m. U.S. ophthalmologists will talk about technologies and devices with slides translated into Russian. Papers include "Vit- Postoperative Period Observations of Supraciliary Microstent Implan- tation for IOP Control in Combined POAG-Cataract Surgery," and "Ab Externo Sibs Micro-Shunt with MMC Efficacy and Safety: Consecu- tive Prospective Interventional Case Series." An instructional course from 3:00–4:30 p.m. will provide in- formation about the indications, approaches, and techniques for using microstents and microinvasive devices.
