Currently, Dr. Espiritu's main
interest is nature photography. "I
love being outdoors and traveling,"
he said. "It makes perfect sense to
capture all of the beauty that makes
one feel so alive and bring it back
home." He particularly enjoys bird
photography, which started when
he and his wife went on a safari in
Kenya 3 years ago. "Our guide was
a Maasai tribesman who was very
knowledgeable in the flora and
fauna of his native land," he said.
