Relift 51% PRK 49% Relift offers the promise of more rap- id vision improvement, but at the cost of increased risk associated with all LASIK cases, especially epithelial ingrowth. My own experience is that I always perform PRK enhancement after LASIK 1 eye at a time, so the patient is functional with the other eye. The tenth question was, "Re- garding postoperative steroids, over what period do you use them in a tapering dose for an uncomplicated case?" No steroids 2% 1 month 59% 2 months 24% 3 months 10% 4 months 2% 5 or more months 0% As usual, a great variety of opinions exist on all matters with respect to LASIK vs. PRK and choices regarding who is a good candidate for PRK. In the next installment, we will explore in depth other real-world clinical practices for the procedure itself.
