Admission is $20 for adults, and tours begin daily at 10:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Laura Plantation is just about an hour from New Orleans. It has been used in a number of modern day media, including as a setting for the film Interview with the Vampire. From March through October, the plantation is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Tours of the grounds and house are available for $20 for adults. Oak Alley is just under an hour from New Orleans.
