Color coding gives real-time information about patient wait times in all areas of the practice. Practice CoPilot www.practicecopilot.com Maestro Nidek launched the HandyRef-K/HandyRef, portable solutions for accurate refraction and keratometry measurements. The full graphic 3.5-inch color LCD is 40% larger than the previous model. Clear screen design and intuitive icons provide high user-friendliness. Measurements start when the alignment starts and locks in the data when alignment becomes optimal as a measurement value. Reichert Technologies www.reichert.com Phoroptor VRx Digital Refraction System Santec received FDA approval for ARGOS, an advanced optical biometer for use in IOL selection. ARGOS provides a unique real-time 2D image of the length of the eye from cornea to retina during alignment. In clinical trials the ARGOS demonstrated high performance in accuracy, repeatability, and success rate even in dense cataracts. ARGOS utilizes the fast swept-source optical coherence tomography imaging technique to generate accurate results, thereby reducing procedure times and minimizing patient discomfort.
