Bar fi lls up quickly on the weekends and has been voted as one of the top blues clubs in the city. Castle 632 N. It is comprised of 5 levels and 4 different "environ- ments." It has a main room, which features music and dancing; a Dome Room, which has private party areas; a Cabaret, which includes a live stage; and a Craft Pub & Eatery, with craft beer and food options. The bar is located on the waterfront with both lake and river views. Coq d'Or 140 E. Walton Place 312-932-4623 www.thedrakehotel.com/dine/coq-dor This classy lounge, which is famous for its martinis, is located on the fi rst fl oor of the Drake Hotel. Coq d'Or opened one day after the repeal of Prohibition in 1933 and remains a popular spot for locals and visitors. Live music is performed every Friday and Saturday. Drop 1909 N. Laschet's Inn serves up authentic German comfort food in a casual atmosphere. M Lounge 1520 S. The drink menu includes a wide range of martinis and other cocktails, as well as beer and wine. The Publican 837 W. Fulton Market 312-733-9555 www.thepublicanrestaurant.com The Publican is an upscale restaurant and bar that resembles a renovated barn. Walnut-colored wood and ac- cents predominate, and patrons will defi nitely notice the large portraits of farm animals adorning the walls. The Publican is a good choice for those looking for a classier location with an extensive wine and import- ed beer list. Studio Paris 59 W. It show- cases electronic and dance music and features a number of emerging and local artists, as well as popular DJs. Vertigo Sky Lounge 2 W. Erie St. 312-202-6060 www.vertigoskylounge.com Vertigo Sky Lounge is located on the 26th fl oor and features both an indoor and outdoor lounge space. The lounge boasts DJs each night and advertises a Rooftop Ice Bar in the winter. EW Chicago nightlife Hard Rock Café Chicago 63 W.
