YLHQQ EW PRODUCT SHOWCASE 162 March 2011 Gulden Ophthalmics added the Orbital Eye Model to its line of educational eye models. The model presents the muscles of the eye, the arteries, veins, and nerves that supply the eye, the bone, nasal structures that comprise the eye orbit, and surrounding features. Each of the 50 identified structures is numbered and corresponds to the identification of the item on the patient education card. The model opens to reveal internal eye structures and attachments. Gulden Ophthalmics 800-659-2250 www.guldenophthalmics.com Richmond Products introduced a series of three card-sized acuity charts, each with Landolt C optotype symbols on one side. Other optotypes on the reverse provide more interesting figures to hold patients' interest longer. Optotypes are based on patients' age and written language ability and available in most languages with Arabic numbers. Richmond Products 505-275-2406 www.richmondproducts.com Carl Zeiss Meditec introduced the HFA-Cirrus Combined Report, the first OCT and visual field integration. By combining data from the Humphrey Field Analyzer and Cirrus HD-OCT, it provides structure and function status for both eyes at-a-glance to help doctors make time-saving clinical assessments. The one- page digital snapshot delivers key patient exam information for visual function, RNFL, and optic nerve head analysis. Carl Zeiss Meditec 800-342-9821 www.meditec.zeiss.com/us Wilson Ophthalmic introduced the Cress Dropper with the assistance of Jonathan Cress, M.D. The dropper attaches to the top of most standard eye medication bottles and enables the patient to instill the drops in a comfortable manner. The dropper's arched area rests on the bridge of the nose with the dropper tip gently touching the inside corner of the eye. By gently squeezing the bottle, it administers an accurate dose of medication every time. Optos 800-854-3039 www.optos.com 200Tx Wilson Ophthalmic introduced the MediBeads Eye Hydrating Compress. The compress fea- tures patent-pending beads that continuously absorb and store water molecules from the air. When microwaved, the absorbed water is released as clean, soothing, moist heat.
