32 | EYEWORLD | SPRING 2025 ASCRS NEWS ASCRS ANNUAL MEETING PREVIEW Highlights of the 2025 Annual Meeting THURSDAY, APRIL 24 SightLine at ASCRS 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. This is a new day-long meeting taking place at the Intercontinental Los Angeles Downtown Hotel for all commercial stake- holders in ophthalmology to learn about and collaborate on technologies and care delivery ideas that will forge a more sustain- able financial future. *Separate registration is required. Business of Interventional Glaucoma 1:00–5:30 p.m. Surgeons and practice administrators alike are invited to the ASOA ASCRS Business of Interventional Glaucoma program at the In- tercontinental Los Angeles Downtown Hotel. *Separate registration is required. FRIDAY, APRIL 25 ASCRS Subspecialty Day 8:00 a.m.–3:45 p.m. Programming for ASCRS Subspecialty Day will cover a variety of topics in refractive, cornea, and glaucoma. ASCRS Exhibit Hall 12:00–5:00 p.m. The ASCRS Exhibit Hall will be open from 12:00–5:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Attend- ees can browse the many booths and visit the ASCRS Tap Room. ASCRS will also be pro- viding lunch in the Exhibit Hall on all 3 days. YES Skills Labs Throughout the day will be YES Skills Labs focusing on phaco, refractive, interventional glaucoma and MIGS, DALK, DMEK/DSAEK, and the Yamane technique. ASCRS Main Stage 4:00–5:00 p.m. This Main Stage event features interviews with the incoming and outgoing ASCRS Presidents and presentation of the Cornelius D. Binkhorst, MD, Medal and Lecture. The lecture will be given by Ronald Yeoh, MD. Aii = Adoption. Integration. Implementation. 4:00–6:00 p.m. The ASOA Aii program will emphasize creat- ing a blueprint for success tailored to each practice's unique needs, focusing on critical stages: adopting new products, technolo- gies, systems, and tools, implementing them for sustained results, and integrating them seamlessly into existing practice workflows. The program is sponsored by ModMed, Promptly, and RxSight. ASCRS ASOA Party for a Purpose 8:00–11:00 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a night of fun and philanthropy at this event, with donations benefiting the ASCRS Foundation. Party for a Purpose will be held at The Novo at L.A. Live. ASCRS, ASOA, and industry attendees, as well as their guests, are welcome (bring your Annual Meeting registration badge for entry, and attendees of Party for a Purpose must be 21 or older). This year's theme is Holly- wood, with participating teams showcasing iconic movie moments. Come as you are or dress like Old Hollywood or a modern-day celebrity ready to walk the red carpet. SATURDAY, APRIL 26 ASOA Saturday General Session 8:30–10:00 a.m. The ASOA Saturday General Session is titled, "Employalty: How to Ignite Commitment and Keep Top Talent in the New Age of Work."
