ASCR S Film Festival
E
ach year since 1982, the ASCRS Film
Festival has been a significant attraction at
the ASCRS Annual Meeting, drawing buzz
from attendees, judges, and those who have
submitted films.
From submissions, the winning films are showcased
during the Film Festival Ceremony. In the time leading
up to the meeting and onsite, a panel of judges careful-
ly weigh all options and submission criteria in order to
select the top films in each category, as well as an overall
grand prize winner.
Winning films are available onsite in ASCRS Edu-
cation Hub and on the ASCRS website year-round.
Award-winning films are also celebrated for their in-
novation and educational value throughout the year in
ASCRS publications, ASCRS social networking sites,
ASCRS' CME 24/7 platform, and at other important
ophthalmolog y meetings around the world.
e Film Festival features hundreds of films judged
in various categories, which range from Cataract Com-
plications to Cataract/Implant Surgery to Glaucoma
Surgery to Instruments and Devices/IOLs, New Tech-
niques, Quality Teaching, and more.
