ASCRS ASOA Party for a Purpose Attend the social event of the ASCRS Annual Meeting on Friday, April 22, from 8:00 p.m.– midnight. Attendees will be able to socialize with colleagues, industry leaders, and exhibiting partners while enjoying live entertainment and dancing the night away. Proceeds will benefit the ASCRS Foundation's humanitarian eyecare and physician education programs. All attend- ees are invited to attend. Attendees can meet the ASCRS Founda- tion team and learn how they can join fellow members and change lives through the ASCRS Foundation programs. 2022 ASCRS Foundation Volunteer of the Year Awards The ASCRS Foundation Operation Sight pro- gram is fueled by a nationwide network of more than 700 volunteers who are dedicated to helping those in need in their own communi- ties. The 2022 Operation Sight Volunteer of the Year Awards will launch in conjunction with the 2022 National Volunteer Week and the ASCRS Annual Meeting. Winners will be unveiled at the ASCRS ASOA Party for a Purpose and in the ASCRS Foundation Area. 2022 ASCRS Foundation Chang-Crandall Humanitarian Award The ASCRS Foundation is proud to recognize Roger Ohanesian, MD, as the 2022 recipient of the ASCRS Foundation Chang-Crandall Humanitarian Award (see page 38 for more details). Endowed by a generous gift from David and Victoria Chang, the ASCRS Foundation's Chang-Crandall Humanitarian Award was established to honor and recognize outstanding humanitarian work around cataract blindness.
