Symposium
The Lindstrom Symposium was established in 2021
to recognize the exceptional contributions made by
Richard L. Lindstrom, MD, to ASCRS and ophthalmology.
Dr. Lindstrom has significantly influenced the main
subspecialties in anterior segment surgery including
cataract, cornea, refractive, and glaucoma. In addition,
Dr. Lindstrom has fostered and promoted industry
collaboration with ophthalmology and ASCRS. The faculty
for the inaugural symposium were all trained by Dr. Lindstrom.
