The ASCRS Foundation and the society's member- ship are active volunteers and program leaders in the effort to address global cataract blind- ness. This group of global changemakers will undoubtedly make a difference in communities around the world in 2020. Follow their volun- teer experiences at www.ascrsfoundation.org. T he ASCRS Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2020 Young Eye Surgeon International Service Grant. The grant's purpose is to inspire young eye surgeons to become involved with global eyecare on a long-term basis. Grantees work with the ASCRS Foundation and its partner organizations on a customized international ex- perience that will enable them to participate in developing world community eyecare programs, teaching opportunities, and healthcare systems. Young Eye Surgeon International Service Grant recipients announced Room creates a welcoming environment for attendees to learn about new technologies and techniques while networking with col- leagues and industry representatives. ASCRS will also host the Tour of Excellence. ASCRS leadership will guide residents, fellows, and young physicians through the Exhibit Hall and facilitate introductions on the floor with compa- nies. These guided tours offer current and emerging ophthalmic leaders the opportu- nity for hands-on interaction with premier technologies. T he Exhibit Hall at the 2020 ASCRS Annual Meeting will offer attendees a couple of new and unique features. The first will be the ASCRS Tap Room, which will provide a forum where attendees can grab a drink, learn about the latest technologies, devices, products, and services, and network with friends and colleagues. Participating companies will share in- formation with attendees and engage in fa- cilitated Q&A sessions.
