"It certainly seems like the ophthalmologists who are
attending the meeting are learning new things, changing
the way they practice, and think this is a meeting their col-
leagues should attend," Dr. Holland said. "That's our goal,
and we're very pleased with the results of the survey."
He added that ASCRS always strives to ensure the
high quality of comprehensive education presented and
that the latest information is being shared.
"The credit for this meeting goes to the program
committee and all the clinicians who provide the excellent
teaching. The program committee is very pleased with the
survey outcomes, but we're not going to rest on our lau-
rels," Dr. Holland said, adding that preparation has already
begun for the 2020 meeting in Boston, which he expects
will incorporate some new and unique aspects, as well as
many of the popular sessions and topics that make the
meeting a success.
