"You can't get much better than that," Dr. Holland said. Meanwhile, 92% of 1,626 respondents indicated that they planned to make a change to their practice after attending the 2019 Annual Meeting. This shows the tremendous impact of the meeting on the practice of ophthalmology, Dr. Holland said. Of 1,654 respondents, 99% said they would recommend the ASCRS Annual Meeting to their colleagues. They gave various reasons for this recommendation, including the compre- hensive education offered, the information and F ollowing the 2019 Annual Meeting, ASCRS produced an Outcomes Report that featured responses from attend- ees relating to their experience at the meeting. "The survey is unique in that almost half of all attendees filled it out, so it reflects the feelings and opinions of attendees," said Edward Holland, MD, ASCRS program chair. "Our goal is to make this the best meeting for anyone doing anterior segment surgery." Looking at the breakdown of our meeting content, more than 50% of sessions at the 2019 Annual Meeting covered cataract topics, with others highlighting topics in cornea, refractive surgery, glaucoma, retina, and presbyopia.
