When asked what they most look forward
to at the annual meeting, each cited various
aspects including informative programs on new
techniques, attending and presenting in some of
the best courses and symposia, learning from
leaders in cataract surgery, meeting people from
all over the world, and learning about new tech-
nologies in the Exhibit Hall.
Dr. Samaresh Srivastava completed a DNB
at Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai. He complet-
ed fellowships at the Raghudeep Eye Hospital
and Narayana Nethralaya.
ASCRS ASOA Annual Meeting
The younger Vasavadas all remember learning
about ASCRS during their father's preparation
for the annual meeting. "We first heard about
ASCRS when we saw our father preparing
videos and presentations for this big meeting
that was held in the United States. We were
always intrigued and curious about this meeting
where all the top ophthalmologists from around
the globe gathered and shared knowledge and
friendship."
Dr. Srivastava first heard about ASCRS as
a resident at Sankara Nethralaya. "We would
